Theater - Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol by Tom Mula
Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol By Tom Mula
Directed by Joe Garoutte
Big Britches Productions is set to present "Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol," a unique adaptation of the holiday classic written by Tom Mula. Under the direction of Joe Garoutte, this production will run at The Bingen Theater, starting on December 1 and will span three weekends with a total of eight shows.
“Marley was dead, to begin with…” —and what happens to Ebenezer Scrooge’s mean, sour, pruney old business partner after that? Chained and shackled, Marley is condemned to a hellish eternity. He’s even given his own private tormentor: a malicious little hell-sprite who thoroughly enjoys her work. Desperate, Marley accepts his one chance to free himself: To escape his own chains, he must first redeem Scrooge.
Audience age is recommended at 7 and up. There are moments of intensity that may be unsettling to sensitive and/or smaller children. No language or sensual situations.
