Ken Waldman: Fiddling Poet | Workshop & ConcertApril 30, 2026
5PM | FOUR WRITING PROMPTS: THE BEGINNING OF FOUR NEW STORIES OR POEMS (WRITING WORKSHOP)
Please join us in our Studio where acclaimed writer and musician Ken Waldman will lead a 2-hour workshop designed for writers of any experience, ability, and age (though recommended for writers at least 13 years old).
The more you write, the luckier you get. Each time you start a piece, there’s an opportunity to get luckier than ever. The trick is getting started. Here, you’ll not only begin four new pieces, but will learn strategies to begin many more. The session is open to writers of all levels and experience.
Ken Waldman will preform his show titled Now Entering Alaska Time, where he combines fiddle tunes with Alaska-set stories and poems. This event is free and open to the public. It follows his Writing Workshop in the same space earlier in the afternoon. For information about that paid event, please click HERE
RSVP is encouraged. The workshop is Pay-What-You-Can, with a suggested donation of $25.
