The film follows Jean-Michel Basquiat (Jeffrey Wright) from his early days as a graffiti artist to meteoric success in the gallery world—alongside friendships, fame, and the pressures that shadow his rise, including a close bond with Andy Warhol (David Bowie).Presented in partnership with Black in the Gorge. Proceeds benefit Columbia Center for the Arts and Black in the Gorge’s cultural programs.
