Supper Club, a collaboration of Husum Riverside B&B and local chef Kathy Watson, will serve an India-inspired dinner on Friday and Saturday, August 17-18. "This is my favorite cuisine, and August is the perfect month for it, with fresh eggplant, tomatoes, and peppers from our local farms," says Watson. The dinners are served on the wisteria-shaded patio at Husum Riverside B&B, and are served by the Nice family, owners of the bed and breakfast. "We don't publish a menu in advance, just a theme, so that Chef Kathy can be as creative as possible using local produce," says Connie Nice. Tickets are sale through noon on Wednesday, August 15 and are $45 per person, and include four courses. Dietary restrictions are accommodated upon request. "Cor Winery will be joining us to pour their wines. We choose a wine pairing for each dinner and guests can purchase that, or wine by the glass or bottle," says Nice. This is the second season of Supper Club, which runs April through September one weekend a month, plus New Year's Eve.
