DESCRIPTION:If I could sit on my old picnic blanket looking over the Hood River Valley\, or a lush meadow beneath Mt. Adams\, a chilled bottle of Syncline wine at my elbow\, the September dinner I'm preparing for you is what I would love to see emerge from a large wicker picnic basket. It is luxurious in its summer bounty ... corn\, tomatoes\, beans\, peaches ... and well\, I won't say anymore. Because the mystery is part of the fun\, isn't it?\n\n\n\nThis is our last dinner of the summer season. (We have dinners on New Year's Eve to keep my winter cooking jones stoked.) The weather should be lovely\, and yes\, Syncline is our partner winery for this dinner. (Chef Kathy Watson)
