DESCRIPTION:This two-hour class will provide an introduction to International Humanitarian Law (also known as the Laws of War).\n\n\n\nIt will cover the origin of these laws\, the role of the Red Cross in creating and maintaining this body of law\, along with an overview of many of the main features and enforcement of the laws in the world today. The course will provide time for participants to ask questions about the laws governing warfare and the way they are currently applied worldwide.
