DESCRIPTION:Hello gorge actors and techies!\n\nCCA is excited to announce upcoming auditions for "Ebenezer Scrooge's Big Hood River Christmas Show"\, performing the first two weekends of December 2026!\n\n \n\nForget everything you think you know about A Christmas Carol! This is a hilarious\, fast-paced and irreverent take on Charles Dickens' beloved holiday classic.\n\n \n\nThis is not your traditional Christmas Carol. This version combines classic storytelling with broad comedy\, physical theater\, music\, puppetry\, rapid-fire character changes\, audience interaction\, and plenty of surprises. A small ensemble of actors brings an entire town of characters to life\, often transforming from one role into another right before the audience's eyes.\n\n \n\nAnd there's a special twist: the "Hood River" part is intentional. The show is designed to celebrate the community where it is being performed. Hood River's local traditions\, familiar places\, community personalities\, organizations\, and holiday customs become part of the production.\n\n \n\nThis is a show for performers who enjoy ensemble work\, physical comedy\, character acting\, quick changes\, audience interaction\, and the joyful unpredictability of live theater.
